This is SongFarm.
We build recording studios in underserved high schools so kids have equal access to creative opportunities.
We are a coalition of musicians, educators, businesses and philanthropists working collaboratively to provide ongoing curricula, mentorship, and an alumni network that connects all SongFarm participants in the learning process.
Created by hit songwriter Ross Copperman and Grammy award-winning mixer F. Reid Shippen, we collaborate with creatives and industry leaders to engage with the next generation of music creatives.

Exactly one year ago, the first SongFarm recording studio opened in Ross Copperman’s alma mater, Glenvar High School in Roanoke, Virginia. And next up is the one in Sterling High School in Sterling, Kansas, which is Nicolle Galyon’s alma mater.
Ross Copperman and Nicolle Galyon were honored as “2020 Champions of the Year” at SongFarm’s first Hometown to Hometown event, with performances from Michael Ray, Emily Weisband & Blessing Offor. Over $200K was raised to benefit new music technology programs in public high schools.
